Weekend commuting to China

My wife is being posted to Shanghai and I will be commuting there most weekends from Hong Kong. We are both British citizens so wondered what was the most effective way for me gaining entry but not going through loads of passports due to the lack of pages for stamps. I expect my wife will be on a working visa. Any thoughts? Cheers, rob

I'm puzzled by you, Even though you wife get a China work visa, you still need to come to Shanghai from Hong Kong on weekends, your passport will be stamped exit and enter records. I don't think there is relation between the Z visa and the pages for stamp.
