About:China Transit Visa

Travelling from Sydney Via Pudong to Seoul Korea (Round trip)

Hi. I leave sydney to go to Seoul but I transit through Pudong Airport which Arrives: Fri 11 Nov 11 19:20 and Departs:Sat 12 Nov 11 08:20. 11 hours. I have a New Zealand Passport and my partner has a South Korean Passport. We will be leaving the airport during transit and given a hotel to stay in by China Eastern Airlines. Do we need a visa in this case? thank you.

no, both of you don't need a visa to gt out of the airport for a 11-hour transit. FYI: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/intro2.htm
