About:China Tourist Visa

For a 1 week visit to Beijing on an Australian passport, what visa do I need?

Am visiting my family in Malaysia and going from there to Beijing. Do I need to apply for tourist visit here in Sydney or in Malaysia? We plan to go on our own and then join a tour there for 1 week. And where is the chinese consulate in Sydney?

You need to apply for China tourist visa in Sydney. Visa office of Chinese consulate in Sydney is located in 39 Dunblane Street, Camperdown. However, you need to submit application to China Visa Application Service Center in Sydney. The consulate only accepts Chinese visa application from diplomatic/service/offical passport holders. The center is located in Level 5, 299 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, NSW 2000
