I am filipino, How to get China visa?

Hi,
I am filipino and we already book for travel in beijing this coming feb 5 to 10 now we plan to process our visa on december is it ok.. even we are going to beijing on feb 5 2012 ..How many days will be granted for our travel..? This is our first time going to Beijing. Hoping for your immediate response to this.
