About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Will it be a problem if the name is misspelled in the invitation letter?

Dear sirs, we 3 plan to travel China for the 2nd time and we got our invitation letter thru our china agents but we hv issue in one name , and its surname misspelled other all info passport #,date of birth correct, will it be an issue to request for visa.

I think it will be a problem if the name on an invitation letter is different from the one in other documents like passport and so on.
