About:China Visa Application in USA

What type of visa do I need to go to China to marry my boyfriend there?

I am going to marry my boyfriend who lives in HuZhou. What type of visa do I need? I know what documents I need to marry but what type of Visa to arrive?

An L visa is OK for you. But if you want to stay in China for long after getting married, you need to get a Family Visit Visa within China. FYI: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/family-visit-permit.htm
