About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

american esl teacher in korea would like to travel to china for christmas break

hello i am an esl teacher living in korea and i would like to apply for a chinise visa to travel to shanghai for christmas break. i was wondering what the restrictiona and procedures are.

Do you have an Alien Registration Card with at least 6 months remaining validity? Now, China embassy or consulate asks non-Korean applicants to provide Alien Registration Card with at least 6 months remaining validity.

If you don't have it, your application will be denied. You can go to Hong Kong to apply for a China visa, then return to Mainland China.
