Were going to stay for 8 hours only, were on the cruise.  if we stay in the ship do we still need China Visa

You all need a China visa if you will disembark in Sanya and visit Sanya. A visa is not required if you stay in the ship. U.S. citizen are not allowed to get a visa on arrival in Sanya, it is possible for the Filipino to get a visa on arrival if they really want to visit Sanya.
