Can I apply for visa extension in Guangzhou so that I can stay here for another 3 months?

i'm currently in Guangzhou with a normal visiting pass. I am here to look into some business venture. However, i can only stay for 15 days. Is it possible for me to get a business pass so that i will be able to stay for another 3 months? Can my colleague in Singapore get it done on my behalf?

If not, what can i do in ??,guangzhou to have it settled? Please advise thank you
