About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Can you apply for a pick up visas from a country which is not your home country?

My partner and I are traveling to china (shanghai, Beijing, hong kong) in November. I am Australian and he is a new zealander. We are not going back to our home countries before the trip, can we apply for a pick up our visas in London?

An applicant holding a passport other than UK passport should provide the original and a copy of his or her permanent residence or work permit which should be valid for at least half a year (except for those who are visa or permit exempt for residing or working in the UK).

Therefore, I can only say that you have to try your luck in London. Sometimes, China embassy in London will issue China visa to temporary visitors in UK. You have to submit application to CVASC in London rather than the embassy.

CVASC Address: Morley House, 26 Holborn Viaducts, London, EC1A 2AT
