Best time to apply for L visa if my travel is on Oct 20, 2011

If my travel is on Oct 20, 2011, when should i apply for the tourist visa?

A single entry visa will usually be valid for three months, so 1 or 2 months (at least 2 weeks) before your planned date to enter China is the good time to apply for the visa.
