Macau - Zhuhai border crossing

I am staying overnight in Macau but need to take an 8:30 morning flight from Zhuhai airport. I heard the border opens at 7:00 but I am not sure how long it takes to cross the border into Zhuhai and how long the lines are for the crossing or if there is any traffic going to the airport. I hope to take a taxi from the Zhuhai border to the airport. My question is can I make it to the airport in time for my flight? Or should I change my hotel to stay overnight in Zhuhai instead of Macau? Appreciate any advice. Thanks.
