About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

Shanghai - Beijing (Overnight soft sleeper) - Departure on Dec 06, 2011

Can advise 2 Adults 1 child age 11, should I purchase 2 tickets for soft sleeper cabin, can my son age 11 (height 1.4m) share the same cabin with parents, also is there a couch where one can sleep?
How much would be the tickets for adults and child?

Of course, he can share the same cabin with you. For the child with height between 1.2 and 1.5meters, he can buy the half-price tickets. And there are four sleepers in the soft sleeper cabin but no couch is available. About the exact ticket price, you could search on the website.

What about for luxury soft sleeper cabin from Shanghai to Beijing with private toilet? Is there a couch in the cabin as I saw one of the pictures showing a couch in such cabin?
