how can we go from beijing central to shanghai

Hi, We'll be staying in Holiday Inn Central, Beijing and would like to go here in Oriental Pearl TV Tower for a dinner and sightseeing. How can we do that? How long is the travel time? Will there be a trip going back to Beijing during the night and until what time if there is? Thank you.

You can get to Beijing SOuth Railway Station and take bullet train about 5-6 hours to Shanghai Hongqiao. Then change to Subway Line 2 to Lujiazui. Get out and you will see the tower. Last high-speed train back to Beijing at 17:55 and last train at 20:22 (13.5 hours). Or perhaps you can take airplane. Here is air research servicehttps://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/
