About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

I would like to visit my Filipina friend at Shanghai for 2 weeks or 3, do I need a tourist visa ?

What are the documents that I need to present to Chinese embassy?

You will require a tourist visa. You will need passport, visa application, 2 photographs, your NBI for overseas travel, letter of invitation from your friend, A copy of his passport and his residency visa (work or whatever he was issued with), his bank statement, copy of return tickets.
