british citizen living in australia, how can i apply for a china visa?

I am travelling to China in September, how much is the visa for a UK citizen also can I get the form downloaded before I visit the office and submit the application. How long does it take to process normally?Thanks for your consideration.

You can apply for China visa through China embassy in Canberra or China Consulate in Perth, please bear in mind that China consulate in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney doesn't accept application from ordinary passport holders. If you want to get a China visa in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney, you have to submit visa application to CVASC in the 3 cities. It costs 50 Australian dollars for single entry visa. It takes 4 working days for visa processing.
