About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Does one need a Visa for China if transiting by air through Hong kong from Vietnam to Canada?

If you transit Hong Kong from Vietnam to Canada and don't leave the Hong Kong airport transit area, you don't need a Hong Kong transit visa.

Canadian citizens do not require a visa to enter Hong Kong.
