About:Beijing Subway

Beijing Subway Transfer

If I want to use subway Lines 4 and 1, do I have to pay 2 rmb or 4 rmb? From what I read, there are no free transfers from one subway line to another. Is that true? Thank you.

You just have to pay for 2RMB when taking Beijing subway no matter how long or how many stations you will take. The transfer is of course for free unless you exit from the subway station.
