where to take the bus from forbidden city hotel to the great wallhow much?

I will be leaving at Forbidden City Hotel in Dong Cheng district and would like to go to Great Wall. Could you please tell me where to take the bus, which no and how much it is and also where to stop. Does the bus stop all along the road. How many hours to reach the Great wall. Which part is better to visit.

If this is your first time to visit the Great Wall and you are not an adventurer, I recommend Badaling. Is the hotel full name Capital Forbidden City Hotel? It's in Xuanwu District. If so,  you can take bus no. 特12内 from Cai Hu Ying Qiao Bei (菜户营桥北） to Deshengmen and then take bus no. 919 express or through line to Badaling. Both of the final stops are near Badaling Entrance. Or take bus no.5 at Cai Hu Ying Qiao Bei to Cai Shi Kou West, then change to subway line 4 to Xizhimen. After that, walk to Beijng north railway station and take a train to Badaling.
