I'm Canadian, can I take a train from Beijing to Xi'an?

Hi,

I will reaching Beijing at 5:25am at terminal 3 and my next flight is at 7:15am at terminal 3 from Beijing to Xi'an. I just wanted to know if I need to take the train because last time while going (Beijing to International country) I had to take the train to change the gate.

Secondly, if in any case there will be delay of my previous flight (from international country to Beijing), then I'm guessing my next flight (Beijing to Xian) might get affected since there isn't much transit time. So, I just wanted to know what to do in the case of a delay and if I miss my next flight (Beijing to Xi'an).

Hi again,

Sorry, I meant to say a shuttle bus, not a train, to catch my next flight (Beijing to Xian). Do I have to take it to change the terminals, because last time I had to take it..(Beijing to international country).

And in case of delay, I don't wish to take the train. I would prefer to take the plane, so I'm guessing I will have to take the next flight available and pay?

neh, when you arrive in Beijing, first, you need to take your luggage, then take a train to T3 to accept the check of customs and immigration, at last, go through the transit floor to check in the flight from Beijing to Xian.

1. you don't need to take the train if you reach Beijing at 5:25am at terminal 3 and take next flight at 7:15am at terminal 3 from Beijing to Xi'an.

2. if your next flight (Beijing to Xian) is delayed, you can take a train to Xian. The passport is not required when you buy a train ticket.
