About:Chinese Embassy in Ukraine

Visa to HK for Ukrainian citizen. Do I need visa if I will enter HK twice, one for travel and the other for transit?

Dear Sirs,

I am an Ukrainian citizen. I will travel to Hong Kong on 20.08.2011 and suppose to stay in Hong Kong for 2 days. On 23.08.2011 I will travel from Hong Kong for holiday to Thailand and will return back from Thailand to Europe through Hong Kong airport on 04.09.2011. It means that I will stay in HK for 2 days but I will return from Thailand to Europe through HK airport in 16 days. According to regulations between Ukraine and Hong Kong Ukrainian citizens can stay in Hong Kong for 14 days without visa. Can You please inform me if I will need visa in this case.

With kind regards
Ruslana

Don't worry, you do not need HK visa in this case. You can just travel to HK for 2 days and leave for Thailand. Then, re-enter HK with your passport, it is better if you hold air ticket to Europe.
