American Tourist in Seoul wanting to travel to China. How can I get a China tourist visa without Korean alien registration card?

I was planning on getting my visa done in Seoul and then heading to China, but it appears without a Korean alien registration card I am unable to travel from Seoul to China. Does anyone have any suggestions, is there really no way to get this done in Seoul? Appreciate any help!

It is possible for you to get a China tourist visa through a travel agency appointed by Chinese consulate in Pusan. Otherwise, you may need to make a trip to Hong Kong and apply there for a China tourist visa; or mail back all required documents to US and ask your any of family membersto apply on your bahalf.
