Snow in Beijing

Me and my family plan to visit Beijing somewhere in 20 December 2011. I want to visit the ski resort to experience skiing in Beijing with my kids...Will there be snow during this time of the year..ie middle Dec?

What is the name of the nearest ski resort in Beijing?

How much is the equipment rental for skiing per person?

It is difficult to say whether snow will happen during mid Dec. But, you could experice ski to a certainty. At the Bird's Nest, there will be Ice and Snow Season from mid Dec. And, if days are cold enough, these outdoor ski resorts will be opened at Beihai Park, Shichahai and other parks.
