What is procedure to call for wife in china after I get Residence permit?

What is proceedure to call for wife in china after getting Residence permit and how much period will be taken for this procedure moreover what is duration of that visa. Is it possible i can get 1 year visa for spouse to live with me (z visa holder foreigner). thanks

Do you mean you want to apply for your wife a visa to live with you in China? After you enter China with a work visa, you are required to apply for a residence permit at local PSB. The processing time needed is few days,say could be a week. Your wife can enter China with an L visa, then, apply for a family visit visa when she is in China at the said PSB with your documents, such as copies of your passport, China visa, and residence permit. It can be valid for one year, or can be extended before it expires.
