if i want to study in china guangzhou, can i obtain the visa student in there ?

So, can I  first enter as tourist visa?  What is the requirement to study there? ( in term of passport and visa) as least how long the passport need to be valid?

It is impossible for you to change your tourist visa into student visa if you enter China by holding a student visa. How long will you study in Guangzhou? For less than 6 months study, you need to apply for business visa (F visa), your passport should be valid for at least 9 months. For more than 6 months study, you need to apply for student visa (X visa), your passport should be valid for at least 15 months. The university in Guangzhou which you want to study has to send you an admission letter and JW201/JW202. Without them, it is impossible for you to get a F visa or X visa. You'd better contact the university online and organize everything well.
