Is it Ok to use green passport to enter HongKong, should I change it to machine readable passport?

I'm planning to travel to Hongkong this coming September 2011.The passport that I'm still holding is still the green one which will expire on March 2012. Is it still ok to use it or should I change it to a maroon-colored passport instead. Thanks!
