for french people, how to apply chinese visa in south korea?

My French Friend is studying in China now, In a week, he is going to Korea to travel for a week. And he would like to come back to China again. In this case, How to apply Chinese tourist visa in South Korea?I've asked so many travel agency if they can help him to apply the visa. But, They said, some rules were changed for French people due to the recent bad relationship between two country. But i cant be sure it's only for French people or others as well. He would like to apply 30days tourism visa. What documents he has to prepare? The more important thing is, is it possible to get chinese visa in South Korea?????

It is impossible for French people to get Chinese visa in South Korea. According to the rule of China embassy in seoul, non-Korean applicants have to provide Korean Alien Registration Card with at least 6 months validity. Temporary visitors to Korea should apply for China visa in their home country. You can advise your friend to go to Hong Kong after Korea to apply for China visa.

I got the e-mail from Chinese embassy in Seoul.Hello, This is Chinese embassy.If French wants to apply for a Chinese visa in Seoul,he should prepare for those documents.1> Passport (and copy)2> One photo3> Application form4> Certificate of alien Registration(and copy)having at least 6 months validity left before expiration. But he doesn't have it,does he? He doesn't have it however he have been to China with in last 2 years,so he also can apply for a visa.5> Already confirmed airline ticket(2way/and copy)6> Hotel voucher5> ItineraryWhen he prepares all of documents,he has to come and apply for a Chinese visa by himself.He CANNOT through a travel agency.Just to share this information!!!!!
