Where can I follow up my Z Visa Application from Philippines?

Good Day! Last July 7 2011, I applied for Z Visa in the Chinese Embassy Philippines; the officer in the window just checked all my documents, gave me a receipt with the status “To be informed” and told me just to wait for the embassy to call me. When I asked when I should expect the call, she can’t tell. It’s been 2 weeks and still no phone call. Where can I follow up my Z visa status? Thank You in advance.

The work visa policy for Filipinos are very strict, now almost all work visa applicants are required to take an interview. Now, there is no other option, you have to wait for the call from the embassy to tell you the status of Z visa application.
