Australian passport holders can apply for two years multiple entry L visa if they can satisfy one of the conditions:
1.their spouse is Chinese
2. they have real estate in China

Otherwise, they can't apply two years multiple entry L visa.

They can apply for one year multiple entry visa if they have been China for at least two times in the last year.
