About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

I'm from Nepal, will visit Hong Kong for 3 nights, can I apply for HK visa in Kathmandu or in Shanghai?

I am going to Shanghai on sep.13.This is my first visit. I want to visit Hongkong for 3 nights. Can i apply for HK visa from here in Kathandu or have to apply from shanghai? If i have to apply from Shanghai then what is the procedure for apply visa? What types of document I have to added?
Can i apply for double entry visa for China? How long its validity?

You have to apply for Hong Kong visit visa through Chinese embassy in Kathmandu, you can't get a Hong Kong in Shanghai.

It is hard for you to get a double entry visa because it is the first time for you to go to China. A double entry visa is generally valid for 6 months. You possibly get a single entry visa valid for 3 months.

If you apply for tourist visa to China (L visa), Invitation letter from China is required, if you cannot provide an invitation letter, please provide a visa recommendation letter from your employing company, organization, etc. Other additional documents e.g. bank statements, round-trip air tickets booking, etc. maybe are also required.
