When  I visit the consulate in Frankfurt with my passport and application form. Will the consulate forward by post or courier my passport with visa when it is ready? I would be happy to pay extra for this to be done

Chinese consulate in Frankfurt do not have post service for visa application. If you can not visit Chinese consulate in person, your application can be handled by someone entrusted and picked up visa with receipt, such as your family member or through a travel agency.
