What you think is the best I can go from Guilin To Urumqi!!

Hi.. I want to get (from Guilin to Urumqi) in the beginning of Aug 2011.. By the train, noway cause its a long way.. And by a plane, I had a TOUGH time finding a flight from Guilin to Urumqi.. What you think is the best I can do here? Like, if I take a train to another close city thin I fly from there to Urumqi? Pleassse advice me guys! Thanks :)
