About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

luggage transfer from T2 to T1, Shanghai Pudong Airport

I will be arriving pudong international t2 from australia & transfer to china eastern t1 to beijing.is there a check in counter for
China eastern t2 or do i need to take my luggage & check in at T1. I am hoping that i can get qantas to tag my luggage thru to beijing & i can drop my luggage at a transfer area at T2.just like los angeles handling international to domestic.

Hi, Not sure if Qantas will tag all the way for a domestic flight in China because you have to pass immigration and customs in Shanghai and then fly domestic. I think most likely you will have to pick up you bags after immigration and transfer to T1. Its not too far and they have mobile walkways between the terminals. hope this helps.
