About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Is there a shorter Visa to China?

In the list above I can only find Visa for three months. Is there no way to get a cheaper one for 14 or 30 days or something?

Do you mean 'Single-Entry Visa with 3-month Validity'? here the 3-month is visa validity only, that means you can use the visa to enter China within those 3 months after visa issuance. Generally, a single entry visa has duration of 30 days, so it allows you to stay in China for one month only.
