About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

What if my stop in Hong Kong is shorter than 24h before I go to Shanghai

Hello,

I will fly from Brussels to Hong Kong with arrival on the 8th of May at 10:20 AM and I will depart from Hong Kong to Shanghai on the 9th of May at 8:35 AM. This means that I will be in Hong Kong for less than 24 hours (considerd transit but I will leave the airport). After my short stay at Hong Kong I will continue flying to Shanghai for a stay of less than 144h before I return to Brussels. Can I do my Shanghai visit Visa free?

You can it is fine. You can still enjoy the free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that.
