Amendment of Chinese passport

Hi, I'm a native-born Chinese holding a Chinese passport and would like to have it amended to my married name. Does the Chinese embassy have a English version (I don't know how to write in Chinese except my Chinese name). Would this be a problem? Also, what are the requirements for this amendment. My ACR card also carried my maiden name.

You are required to visit Chinese embassy or consulate in person for amendment of your Chinese passport. The documents you need to prepare are as follows:
1. application form for Chinese passport renewal.
2. passport-sized photo.
3. original ARC and ICR and copies.
4. current passport you hold and its copy.
5. documents related to your name change.
You can do this even if you cannot speak Chinese unless you join the philippine nationality.
