About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

i will go to the shanghai this coming august...but do i need double entry visa if i want to beijing?

No, a singel entry visa is enough if you will travel within China mainland after one entry. Hong Kong and macao are not included. It is ok to visit Beijing from Shanghai. In addition, if you want to visit Tibet, you need to apply for a Tibet Entry Permit.
