About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I have a " F " type Chinese Visa valid for 1 year, multi-entries. How Can I extend the Duration stay in China?

Hi,
I am Canadian and have a " F " type Chinese Visa valid for 1 year, multi-entries.
My problem is that the maximum duration stay (each) is 30 days and I need to stay more ( maybe 2.5 months).
How can I have a duration stay extension? Or do I have to leave China after 30 days and come back?
Thank you.
Robert

China visa can not be changed after issuance. Actually, your visa type is good since Chinese embassy is strict with applications of multiple entries. So, you can leave for HK or other region every 30 days to activate next 30 days' duration. OR, you can try to apply for a new visa, and by this way, the final visa type you will be issued is still up to the visa officers, it is not necessary as I think, if less better than that you got now.
