Can I use police clearance to replace NBI Clearance for Chinese student visa application?

Hello! I would like to apply for an X visa to study in China this Aug.. The only problem with the requirements is the manual processing of NBI clearance these days. The authorities said that they will release it MAYBE on the first week of August. Is there any other document, like Police clearance perhaps, that I can use in replace of? Thank you.

I don't think the embassy will accept Police clearance to replace the original NBI clearance. I'm afraid that you have to wait for the issuance of NBI clearance.
