About:Shanghai Metro Line 2

How long does it take to travel from Nanjing East Rd. Station to Pudong International Airport?

Our flight leaves at 08.00 am, so we are wondering if it's possible to take the subway? Or are there any other options (besides taking a cab, because that's relatively expensive)?

The first subway line 2 runs at around 06:00 from East Nanjing Road to Shanghai Pudong Airport and it takes about 70 minutes. It is rush for you to catch your flight. Apart from the subway, you can take taxi to Jing'an Temple to catch the first airport shuttle bus line 2 at 05:30. It takes about 50 minutes.
