About:Beijing Travel

Do we need to buy ticket from Beijing to Chengde in advance?

I will arrive in tian jin at 2.35 pm and directly go to Beijing. Is it possible if I buy train ticket from Beijing to Chengde on the same day? Or do I need to book ticket in advance? is anyone can give reference of place to stay at Chengde,perhaps hostel? and is it easy to go around Chengde without using tour service?

Generally speaking, U need to book tickets in advance in China, especially it is going to be the summer holiday,, it is difficult to book train tickets. So i suggest u to book in advance.
As for the hostels in Chendu, there are many nice hostels in Chengdu, i recommend u the Chengdu Mix hostel.

For the ticket train,how can I book in advance? In the train station?
