Travel to Jinmen

You can visit Jinmen with your multiple visa. The ferry travels from Jinmen Ferry Terminal to Xiamen. It operates from 09:00 to 17:00 on a ninterval of about one hour. It costs about CNY650. You can stay one night in Jinmen to enjoy the wonderful nightlife there.

Thank you very much for your information. I hope I read it correctly that the fare is RMB650? I thought it is very near from Xiamen to Jinmen? By the way, is the terminal same place of the terminal to Gulang Island?

Yes, Jinmen is very near to Xiamen, and I find that It only cost about CNY150 by ferry for a single way. I think the terminal is the same as to Gulangyu.

I forgot to ask if I have luggage (after the trip I will visit my relatives in Putian), is 1 day trip to and from Jinmen enough for the seeing (so that I can book a hotel in Xiamen and back to hotel in the evening without bring big luggage)? Or if 1 day is not enough, is it more suitable for me to bring my big luggage to Jinmen, stay a night there and back to Xiamen the next day? Is there any place Xiamen (without checking in hotel) for me to put my luggage and just bring along small luggage to Jinmen? Once again 谢谢你们。
