About:China Visa

One day trip from ShenZhen to Hong Kong, do i need to apply permit for HK trip as i had a visa to travel at ShenZhen?

Hi,
I'm a Malaysian Citizen who going to travel at ShenZhen for four days three night.
I've plan to have a one day trip to Hong Kong too.. Do i need to apply permit for HK trip as i had a visa to travel at ShenZhen ? By the way.. can i travel HK and go back ShenZhen on the same day ?

You don't need a visa to Hong Kong for one day trip because Malaysian nationals are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for 90 days. If you just hold single-entry visa, you can't go back to Shenzhen from Hong Kong because the single entry has been used when you travel to Shenzhen for the first time. You can try to get a new China visa in Hong Kong or apply visa on arrival in Shenzhen.
