if i need my china work visa on friday 1st july, when is the last day i can go to make

I'm leaving Japan on Sunday 3rd July to go home to the UK for a holiday, but before I leave, I am hoping to get my work visa for my new job in China. I am waiting for my new employer to send me the documents which should arrive today, tomorrow or Thursday.  If I pay the extra 3000Yen what is the last day I can go to the embassy to start the process? Thanks.

Are you going to apply for it in Chinese embassy in Tokyo? if yes, 3000Yen is for express service that you can pick up your visa next working day after you submit your application. But if you can submit your application in the morning before 11:00 and pay extra 4000yen, the visa can be ready at 16:00 on on the same day. Be note that this must be based on complete requirements for visa application. Anyway, you can also apply for it in UK.
