i need china visa for 3 month. do i need invitation letter?

My DearI have Belgium passport, and i want take visa and go to china ,first of all for visit and then see my friend that come from Iran and have business there. and i want stay there for minimum 3 month,my question is that can i take visa or need Invitation and which document need .Best regard

You can apply for a tourist visa (L) to China. The duration of China single entry visa is 30 days in general, and it can be extended twice in China, with 30 days each. So, it is ok if you need to stay in China for 3 months. Or, you can apply for a double entry or multiple entry China tourist visa directly. It will be better if you will like to visit China on a tour package, providing travel itinerary from a travel agency.For China business visa, you are required invitation letter from China, both the inviter company and office of foreign affairs.
