About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I want to bring my 16 year-old niece to china for a visit. What documentation does a US minor need for China visa application?

We gave a notarized letter of consent from her mother and mother's drivers license; we gave the girl's father's death certificate; also itinerary that she will travel with two older female teachers; and the purchased plane ticket. What else is needed my sister and niece?

Besides the documents you listed, your niece also need to provide her passport, one passport photo, the visa application form V.2011A filled by her mother because she is under the age of 16 years.
