Bullet train - Shanghai to Beijing

Hello my husband and I are traveling to shanghai for business but we would like to catch the new high speed train to Beijing on the 1st of July returning on the 3rd – can you please let me know how I can buy tickets as I am based in Australia? Can I buy them online or at the train station?
