Guangzhou Airport to City late at night and City to Airport in the morning

I'll be arriving at the Guangzhou airport at 11:20 pm on a Saturday and departing at 8:40 am on Monday. What is the best to get into the city at night or to the airport early in the morning? What would a taxi cost to a central location of the city?

The taxi fare is more than CNY100 from the airport to the city downtown area. You can also take the airport express bus line 1 after arriving at the airport at night to the downtown area. The first bus departs at 05:00 from CAAC Ticket Office to the airport in the morning.
