About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

transfer luggage at Shanghai Pudong airport

I am flying from Incheon to New York but have an overnight layover in Shanghai. Do I need to collect my bags and then re check them in the next day? Or will they be transfered automatically?

If you take a through ticket for the two flights and check-in your luggages directly to New York at Incheon, you will have no need to collect them and recheck-in them at Shanghai Pudong airport.
