About:

Can you take a train ride from Shanghai to Beijing over a weekend? Can you make any suggestions

We are from the US and will be on business working in Shangai, over the weekend a group of us would like to travel to Beijin to see the Great Wall of China. Can you help with making suggestions on what is the best by to traval and where to stay?

Of course you could do this trip. When will you arrive in Shanghai? At present, you could take a night-train on Friday from Shanghai to arrive in Beijing early in the morning of Saturday. And then, taking a night train or flight back to Shanghai on Sunday.

What's more, since this 28th, you could take the high-speed train from Shanghai to Beijing in 5 hours, and vice versa. By this way, you could go to Beijng on Sat. and return to Shanghai on Sun..

As for the hotel in Beijing, it is suggested that you stay in Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing or Qianmen Street, where you could see this city as much as possible.
